The stride length of the cross trainer can make a big impact on the effectiveness of your workout. If the stride length is too short, you'll experience unnatural running or speed walking, preventing you from exercising at your maximum intensity. With that in mind, the X-16's 18 inch stride length, combined with 20 electronic levels of resistance, is ideal for working out at a higher intensity level. Rely on the X16's hand sensors to give you an idea on your heart rate during the workout. Monitoring this statistic you can exercise at a constant and ideal heart rate which is tailored to your fitness level and goal. The adidas X-16's blue backlight LCD display shows all key functions and feedback, with simple icon buttons underneath representing each of the console features from the X-16's programs, speed setting, interval training, user profiles as well as quick start and stop buttons.
